Natural Environment Appreciation

Each week the children go out for a “walking lesson” where they are able to experience the outdoors. We have activities which create environmental awareness in our students, fostering their interest in caring for and improving the environment, and expanding their ecological knowledge on topics such as energy, landscape, air, water, natural resources and wildlife.

On occasion these “walking lessons” are visits to cultural environments in our area, to help children understand and respect the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the area where we live.
