A Day at
International
Montessori School
Each day at International Montessori School is designed to nourish the body, mind, and heart. With a thoughtfully structured timetable that respects children’s rhythms, our school offers a healthy, mindful dining experience and access to pediatric care. Yoga, mindfulness, and emotional education support their inner growth, while Learning Walks connect them with the natural and cultural world around them. Our after-school activities expand their horizons through creativity and movement. Families stay connected through regular communication, building a strong bond of trust and partnership between school and home.

“How can I monitor my child?”
At International Montessori School, we believe in open and ongoing communication with families. Each week, families receive a summary from the classroom guide that includes insights into what their child is working on, how they are progressing, and any observations relevant to their development.
In addition, parents are invited to regular meetings, workshops, and individual follow-ups to strengthen the connection between home and school. Our communication channels, including email and internal platforms, ensure that you stay informed and involved in your child’s educational journey.

School Meals & Health Education
At International Montessori School in Sotogrande, we believe that nurturing healthy habits is part of educating for life.
Our meal program is thoughtfully designed to offer nutritious, balanced options that respect children’s needs and rhythms.
Through daily routines, conscious eating and gentle guidance, we help students develop autonomy, respect for their bodies, and a positive relationship with food.

Pediatric Care Service
KidsCare
At International Montessori School, the youngest children in Nido (0–18 months) and Infant Community (18 months–3 years) benefit from a dedicated on-site pediatric care service. A local pediatrician visits the school weekly to monitor the children’s development and health, creating a safe, proactive environment.
Additionally, the service includes online consultations throughout the day in case a child shows signs of illness. Families can connect live to receive the pediatrician’s evaluation, allowing for quick, coordinated decision-making and full transparency.
Learning Walks
Learning Walks are monthly outings carefully planned to help children connect classroom content with the real world. Whether exploring nature, visiting cultural spaces, or meeting professionals from various fields, each walk is designed to spark genuine interest in learning and expand their understanding
of the environment around them.
More than just field trips, they are meaningful opportunities for experiential learning that support the projects students are working on and enrich their holistic development.
